Federal State Budgetary Institution of Healthcare “Siberian District Medical Centre of FMBA of Russia” (hereinafter referred to as the Centre) is a federal medical centre founded in 1926 has a long tradition and a famous history. Today it is a modern, well-equipped medical facility that provides primary and specialized (including high-tech medical health care) in oncology, surgery, therapy, gynecology and urology, as well as ENT surgical procedures of any complexity. The Centre provides medical care to patients from many regions of Russia, as well as to citizens of foreign countries.

Main profiles.

Federal State Budgetary Institution of Healthcare “Siberian District Medical Centre of FMBA of Russia” was licensed to perform more than 150 types of medical care, including high-quality medical care. The Centre is multidisciplinary and has two large units: an out-patient clinic and an in-patient hospital with diagnostic centre.

During the last year, more than 6 thousand patients took care in the in-patient department of the Center, including about 450 patients – high-quality medical care, more than 1.5 thousand patients – in the day hospital unit. Total amount of cases of medical care in the Centre is about 160 000 visits. In 2019, more than 150 foreign citizens from the following countries: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Croatia, received medical care it the Centre.

Equipments.

The Center employs: 89 doctors, including 42 with the high qualification category, as well as doctors and candidates of medical sciences. 183 paramedical personnel (including 83 with the high qualification category). The center actively cooperates with medical research institutions of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk State Medical University, for which it is a clinical base.

Medical specialists of the Centre have mastered and successfully apply all the necessary methods of high-tech medical care, based on modern medical technologies for surgical, oncological, urological, ENT and gynecological profiles.

- reconstructive surgery on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary and reproductive systems,
- stenting of intra- and extrahepatic ducts,
- organ-preserving surgery for giant genital tumors and common forms of endometriosis,
- surgical interventions for dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles using mesh prostheses,
- reconstructive plastic surgery for strictures of the urethra and ureter, hypospadias, epispadias, urogenital fistulas, stress urinary incontinence,
- hearing-improving operations in the pathology of ENT organs (tympanoplasty, stapedoplasty).

Since 2010, the Centre certified in the state quality management system with the requirements of GOST ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001: 2011); in 2017, the certificate has been renewed. The Center has developed own system of internal quality control and safety of medical activities and pharmacological safety.

As part of the scientific work, international multicenter clinical trials are being conducted in the Centre. There are currently over 10 active trials and more than 50 successfully finished trials in total were within last 10 year.
